Today's custom homes are better designed for efficiency, with one or more walk-in closets. Organized storage spaces can make even a small home feel much more spacious.
60% of homeowners prefer walk-in closets in the master bedroom, in particular people between the ages of 35 and 54. They rate this as a very important feature.
Why? Two main reasons: space and status. The more you climb the corporate ladder, the more clothes you need. Today’s power couples are often both out in the workforce and are holding down high-power positions. His and Her walk-in closets in the master bedroom are particularly desirable.
